Our family has been planning to visit Ilocos since last year but for some reasons it didn’t materialize. We were then lucky to finally made it this year.
It was 14th of August, our family woke up as early as 3AM to travel to Vigan. Hubby drove the car off from Pangasinan (Mangaldan) to Vigan by 4 hours, that is without traffic. Since it was our first time to travel to Ilocos, we used google map as our navigator. Below is our 2-day itinerary for our Ultimate Ilocandia Adventures:

8:30 AM – bought some pasalubong (bagnet, longganisa and chichacorn)
10:00 AM – arrived at Ilocos Norte, visited former President Marcos’ Museum

We’re supposed to go as far as Pagudpud and stay at Ilocos Norte for 1 more day but since our driver (hubby) was not feeling well, we had to cut our trip short. Even if we stayed there for only a short time, we learned a lot from this trip and enjoyed the company of each other.
