Dreamplay

I am now back to writing after catching up with my pending works at home and at the office. Our two weeks holiday at the Philippines is short but adventurous. I have a lot of memories to share and I shall now begin with our adventures at the City of Dreams.

Hubby’s niece, Kimberly has celebrated her 18th Birthday at Blue Leaf Filipinas so we all checked-in at the nearest hotel – The Hyatt City of Dreams. Since we are in the COD area, we also took the opportunity to explore the world’s first family entertainment center from Dreamworks Animation called The Dreamplay.

We purchased tickets for the three of us (4-hour pass which is Php300 per adult and Php100 for our young Apollo). We were ecstatic to see the smiling faces of Shrek and Tiger from Madagascar at the main entrance. After getting our passes, Apollo rushed through the Shrek’s Swamp Stomp where he enjoyed gliding and sliding.

Next stop was at the Dream Theatre. It was Apollo’s first time to experience a 4D movie and he’s so thrilled about it. We’ve watched short films about Kung Fu Panda, Madagascar, and How to Train your Dragon. He was so amazed to feel the air, water, and heat that goes with the movie scenes.

Next activity was at the Dream Tales Library where we watched a Penguin Puppet Show entitled King Julien’s New Clothes.

This is a definitely fun thing to do while you’re in Manila. With it’s close proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, SM Mall of Asia Complex, SMX Convention Centre, this place is worth a visit.
