Our First 3 Days of 2015

1st of January, first day of the year. We still have the party hang-over from last night, and of course sleep deprived, but since it’s the 1st day of the year, we have to get up early and go to church for thanksgiving. After church, we found my cousin, Ruel was waiting for us outside. He paid us a short visit to give his gift to Apollo, then after he left, it was my hubby’s brother and sisters turn to visit us, all from Abu Dhabi. We took them to shopping malls, then to Juice World as they’ve requested. Juice World is located just outside Al Rigga Metro Station, and it’s been drawing diners since it has opened during the 3rd quarter of 2014. It offers the freshest fruit juices, fruit salads, and fruit bouquets. It even attracts more people for their fresh fruit displays.

2nd of January was spent with great friends at Dubai Creek Park. The weather was perfect for outdoor activities and we enjoyed playing badminton and other group games (relay was a definite fun!), we also had some delicious barbecue and brought some snacks with us. Apollo was also busy playing football and riding on his motorbike. And whilst everyone is busy with different things, I took the liberty to relax and lay down on the grass for a nap. It was a fun day indeed!

3rd of January was our final rest day as we will be officially back to business on the 4th. But before that, another unexpected visitors came by – my sister’s family from Abu Dhabi. As we were discussing on where we could possibly take them for a tour in Dubai, a place they haven’t visited yet, my husband suggested for Dubai Museum. We looked back to where the history of Dubai had started and had a glimpse of its humble beginnings. This shall be tackled in my next post.
