Where we stayed in Paris: Yllen Eiffel Hotel

We stayed in a three-star hotel in 15th Arrondissement which I found through agoda.com.

We wanted to stay in a safe and convenient place that had an easy access to metro stop with nearby shops and cafes. Another important thing to consider also was that the hotel building should have an elevator. I’ve noticed that most hotel/apartments in Paris are accessible by stairs only, thus the difficulty in bringing up the luggage in case of staying in upper floors.

We’re happy we’ve chosen to stay at Yllen Eiffel Hotel, which is just right in front of Volontaire metro stop, so we didn’t find any problem in locating our hotel. Eiffel Tower is also nearby, about 10-15 minutes away by walking. It had an elevator and an air conditioning unit. The bedroom is clean; however I must say beds are too small. It’s a good thing though they have provided a free baby cot for my son as the double bed that we booked could hardly accommodate the three of us.

The hotel is also serving breakfasts with a good variety to choose from. We definitely enjoyed our meals.

The staff made an impeccable service all throughout our stay. They were nice and friendly; they even helped me use the kitchen to wash my son’s feeding bottles. They also assisted us how we can get through Gare du Nord Terminal Station.

We were somewhat satisfied during our stay in this hotel – average should be the right term. Knowing that everything is costly in Paris, we could manage to sacrifice a little comfort just to save a bit.
