Jardin du Luxembourg

After visiting the Army Museum, we took a bus en route to Luxembourg Gardens, which is located at 6th arrondissement. This is actually our final destination for the day before we return back to the hotel. After those tiring walks that we did for the whole day, Luxembourg is a perfect place to rest, relax, and feel the wonders of nature. We sat by the vacant bench and ate the sandwich that we brought, then watched the world go by. It was a lovely scene to see kids racing their sailboats by the pool just right in front of Luxembourg Palace. I have to keep and eye though for Apollo as he wanted to dive in to the pool of water. The flowers in different variety are just so lovely in bloom, serving as a colourful ornament to the place. Not far from us was a romantic scene by a lovely couple, smooching by the bench. Opss!

There are a lot more of beautiful sights to visit in this place and one is Medici Fountain. I have seen photos in the internet and it is such a beauty. too bad we’re not able to check on it as it was starting to rain and we have to leave the place before it gets dark.
