Discovering Istanbul: Day 4 to 5

DAY 04 – An Amazing Cruise Between Two Continents: Asia & Europe

Turkey is the only country located in between 2 continents, Asia & Europe, which is separated by the beautiful, Bosphorus Strait. We purchased our ticket at Eminonu Pier for our short circle Bosphorus Tour for 15 Turkish Lira per person. We passed by other iconic places of Istanbul such as the Dolmabahce Palace or the recent residence of the Ottoman Sultans, the Golden Horn or the naval harbour of the Byzantines, Galata Tower, and Rumeli Fortress. We had our lunch in one of the fish restaurants in Rumelikavagi, next to the Black Sea and end of Bosphorus. It was a very relaxing trip as all we have to do is take photos while we are inside ferry.

Istanbul was actually our first trip together as husband and wife. Well I could say that this was our post honeymoon vacation, since we got married in August and then went to Istanbul in November. Both of us are adventurous, high in spirits and share the same passion in traveling and exploring one country to another. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why our relationship had clicked. At the end of our journey, we created a wonderful memory in this amazing country and Turkey became one of our favorite countries ever visited. We hope to explore more of its beauty especially in Pamukkale, Ephesus, and Cappadocia.
